
This is more on the life of crisis end of things. When I’m feeling out of control and scared and sad I remember “this is normal and expected.” In other words, there’s nothing strange or wrong about all of the difficult, uncomfortable feelings I’m having. They are normal. They are expected, given the situation I am in. That phrase gives me some perspective and makes it easier for me to just feel the feelings without judging them, which makes it so much easier to move through them to the other side where I know so much good stuff is waiting, for me and for you.
